Xpangineers is a fast growing online freelancing platform that puts oil and gas engineers and Experts around the world in contact with International Engineering offices, allowing them to work remotely together.

Xpangineers is a fast growing online freelancing platform that puts oil and gas engineers and Subject Matter Experts ("Experts") around the world in contact with International Engineering Companies ("Customer") to perform remotely certain activities ("Projects") based on a mutually agreed budget, time frame and quality that meets and exceed Customer's expectations
Building a community/network of on demand Experts from different age, culture and gender brought together by shared experiences and common interests to promote their success and recognition within the industry.
Immediate access to a pool of global scarce Industry Experts to enable customers to effectively and flexibly allocate remotely critical projects resources, while avoiding the traditional lengthy recruitment process and its consequent onboarding costs.

*Experts from other regions/countries are welcome to register and create their accounts since we are expanding our operation to cover other regions shortly. Registered Experts will be notified accordingly and their accounts will be activated

Do I need to be incorporated to join as an Expert ?
We advice you to check with your local authorities the proper way to work as a Freelancer to file your income and declare your local Taxes.

Note: if you are already employed, we advice you to check your Contract obligations and inform your employer about your plans,if required, to avoid unnecessary legal issues between you and your employer.
How It Works ?
In few simple steps :
Step (1) : Customers will post the detailed description of the project (activities required) along with the time frame and budget (optional)
Step (2) : Projects will be published to all the relevant Experts.
Step (3) : Available Experts will provide their bids (deliverables, Cost, timeframe) along with additional information as requested by Customer.
Step (4) : Customer will evaluate the bids, check the profiles, select an Expert, agree on milestones and Start a Service Contract
Step (5) : Customer must pay in advance the milestone funds, which will be held on Stripe connected account till the Customer "Approve" the work done.
Step (6) : All project documents will be saved and shared through a secured and protected channels till the project is successfully delivered to Customer's satisfaction.
Step (7) : Once a milestone is marked "Approved" by the Customer, only then the milestone funds will be released directly to the Expert's account. Same process, from step (5) will be repeated for each agreed milestone.
Does Xpangineers manages Projects on behalf of Customers ?
Xpangineers is neither subcontracted by the Customer nor employing an Expert. Xpangineers is just an online platform where Customers meet Experts and agree on certain activities to be performed remotely in accordance with Customer's requirements.
Xpangineers responsibilities are limited to:
- Maintain the level and quality of Expertise within the platform.
- Monitor the bidding and payment process.
- Maintain the communicated information and project data secured and protected.
- Develop more features, tools and provide more services to support our Customers and Experts to efficiently Execute projects.
However, if needed, Xpangineers can provide assistance to Customers in managing their ongoing projects from the bidding stage till the project completion. For further details please contact email@example.com or schedule and online meeting with us.
Communication during the bidding stage, how is it done?
Communications during the bidding stage shall be conducted only through the Platform direct message board. You must not post your email address or any other contact information.
Communication during the project execution, how is it done?
Collaboration is key to project success, Customers and Experts are in full control to choose the proper communication channels. All Document sharing shall be conducted through Xpangineers Document Management System, for quality reasons, dispute resolutions and to ensure safe and confidential exchange of documents between Customer and Expert.
What Fees does Xpangineers Charge ?
Please refer to our Terms and Conditions for full details over Payment and Fees.
For each transaction, Xpangineers deduct its fees, from the Expert, which consist of:
-Commission Fee 20%
-Admin Fees (transactions fees
- VAT (if applicable, depending on the Expert's location). VAT is assessed only on the digital services provided by Xpangineers (i.e. commission fees, Admin fees, subscriptions if applicable), NOT on the services the Experts provide to their Customers.
What is the hour rate per project ?
Experts are completely free to define their own hourly rate based on their qualifications and experience.
However in order not to underestimate or overestimate your qualifications and rate, here are some guidance based on Xpangineers records:
- Design Engineer (5 to 10 yrs experience) = 20-40 eur/hr
- Senior engineer (10-20 yrs experience) = 50-85 eur/hr
- Expert engineer (20 yrs experience and above) = 90-130 euro/hr
- Designers/Draftsman = depends on the experience and complexity of the task
The above rates are just for indications and guidance, however Customers and Experts to mutually agree on the project cost/budget, milestones and time frame.
What If I am not satisfied with the work of the Expert ?
We are certain that our community Experts will deliver projects to Customer's satisfaction. However, every once in a while, there comes a time when the work you get isn’t exactly what you expected. That is normal, the same happens with in house Contractors or permanent employees.
We request that any dissatisfaction would be addressed at an early stage of the Service Contract. Also we do expect that dissatisfaction and disagreement between parties will be expressed respectfully.
If you're not satisfied with the deliverables, then we advice you to check :
-The communicated requirements. Was the scope of work clear enough ?
-Communication channels were set properly?
-Prerequisites (project specifications, etc) to perform the work were provided on time?
-Grey areas were discussed and answered clearly ?
-Discuss your concerns immediately and openly with the Expert. Request a recovery plan and and revision of the work to your satisfaction.
-If you still don't want to proceed, you can opt to close the project from your side. We are ready to provide you with the necessary assistance to find a quick replacement and avoid any impact on your project. Refund of the last milestone paid can be requested if the Expert was found at fault.
How do i make sure I am hiring the right expert?
Xpangineers spares no efforts to make sure the registered Experts are legit and qualified.
However, before hiring any Expert, Customer must check the Expert rating and Reviews from the past Customers he/she worked with. Customer must check carefully and thoroughly the Expert's profile, does he/she has the skills that really match your project’s needs? his/her employment history reflects the specific experience you are looking for?.
It is very important that Customers, as partners, provide their Feedback (rating and Review) after each project completion. We use this Feedback on our periodic screening over the existing registered Experts and accordingly we take the necessary actions to keep our Experts community up to the Customer's expectations.
How do I make sure the Customer will pay my fees ?
To start a Service Contract, Customer must pay each agreed milestone upfront. The milestone funds will be held in Stripe connected account until the milestone is completed to Customer's satisfaction. Once "Approved" by Customer , the funds will be transferred directly to your bank account. Therefore it is the Expert duty and responsibility to complete the milestone as per Customer's requirements and specifications without any delays that may affect the project progress.
If Customer delays the release of a milestone payment, means delaying the Approval of a work done without any given justification, Expert may raise a dispute following our Dispute Resolution process. refer to our Terms and Conditions
